What’s New at Equip
This month, we’re continuing to make it easier for teams to reduce administrative work, capture meaningful progress, and stay focused on what matters most—supporting long-term independence.
April marked an exciting milestone as we officially launched our new brand and expanded market focus—a step forward in how Equip supports organizations working to deliver and sustain real outcomes over time.
Alongside this, we introduced several updates designed to simplify workflows, improve data accuracy, and better connect daily activity to measurable progress:
AI-Powered Form & Assessment Import (Beta)
Bring forms and assessments into Equip in minutes. Upload a file or link to a supported form and let AI handle the setup, reducing manual configuration and saving valuable time.
Edit and Run Again for Reports
Get insights faster. Rerun reports with saved filters without starting from scratch, making recurring reporting more efficient and reliable.
Form Denial + Resubmission Flow
Create a clear feedback loop. Approvers can now send forms back with comments, ensuring submissions are complete, accurate, and aligned before approval.
Save & Resume Forms (Including PDFs)
Reduce incomplete data and user friction. Forms can now be saved and finished later, including PDF and document-based forms, so progress isn’t lost.
Accumulating Goal Waypoints
Track consistency over time. Goals can now reflect running totals, making it easier to measure progress that builds, not just one-time completion.
Each of these updates is designed to reduce manual work while giving teams better visibility into progress—so effort translates more directly into outcomes.
Along the Path
In April and May, we’re focusing on a simple but important idea: outcomes that stick.
Across the programs we work with, one pattern shows up consistently:
Progress is made inside the program—but it doesn’t always hold afterward.
Not because the support wasn’t effective, but because long-term outcomes require more than short-term success.
They require:
- consistency over time
- reinforcement across environments
- visibility after formal support ends
This is where many programs face their biggest challenge—not in delivering services, but in sustaining outcomes.
Over the next several weeks, we’re exploring what actually drives long-term success:
- why progress fades
- how to identify early signs of regression
- what’s worth tracking beyond program completion
- and how to build lightweight systems that support follow-through
These shifts aren’t about adding more work.
They’re about making sure the work being done today continues to matter tomorrow.

Community Spotlight
At Oklahoma State University, the Opportunity Orange Scholars program is creating something that’s still far too rare — a true college pathway for young adults with intellectual disabilities.
It’s a fully immersive, two-year experience where students live on campus, build real-world skills, and prepare for what comes next.
Through a certificate in Career and Community Studies, students engage in:
- Academic coursework (including inclusive classes)
- Hands-on career development and internships
- Daily living and independence skill-building
- Meaningful community involvement
What stands out most is the program’s clarity of purpose:
everything is designed to lead to employment and a more independent, connected life.
Students aren’t just learning — they’re practicing. Navigating campus. Building routines. Exploring career paths. Participating alongside their peers.
It’s a model that reflects where the field is heading:
real inclusion, real experience, and real outcomes.
Looking Ahead
With new branding, expanded focus, and continued product improvements, Equip is doubling down on one goal: helping organizations deliver outcomes that hold over time.
By reducing administrative burden and improving how progress is captured and connected, teams can spend less time on systems and more time supporting meaningful, lasting independence.
We’re excited about what’s ahead—and we’re just getting started.
If you’d like to see these updates in action, we’d be happy to connect.
