Smarter Tools in the Palm of Your Hand
This month’s releases are all about flexibility and freedom—especially for supporters and participants on the move.
📱 Goal Tracking on Mobile Log progress toward individual goals, mark completions, and reflect on outcomes—right from your phone. Whether you’re at an internship site or transitioning between activities, you can document growth in the moment it happens. Mobile goal tracking is another step toward putting independence back where it belongs—in the hands of the individuals you support.
📅 Supporter Availability in the Calendar Still coordinating staff schedules manually? Equip’s new calendar enhancement enables supporters to set their own availability, offering admins and coordinators instant clarity on when support is accessible. Whether you’re planning coaching sessions, check-ins, or transitions, scheduling is now more efficient and transparent. These updates reduce administrative friction and empower more responsive, person-centered care.
📊 Smarter, More Actionable Forms We’ve rolled out powerful updates to Forms and Assessments to help you stay organized and act on insights faster. Now you can set a status on forms—perfect for keeping things in order as you gear up for a new year or semester. Responses shift to “In Progress” when started, and you can filter by start date to get a fuller picture of engagement. Improved labels show when responses were invited, started, and completed, with visual badges and saved filters. Bar charts now display automatically for choice questions, offering quick, downloadable insights. Together, these enhancements give you sharper visibility, cleaner workflows, and more intuitive data to support decision-making.

Empowering Independence
Building confidence, how Equip supports independence every day.
Not Just Involved—Invested
Empowerment grows when individuals move from simply being included to truly influencing their support experience. Equip facilitates this shift through tools that invite reflection, choice, and ownership:
Person-centered features—like mood logs and goal plans—foster active participation and self-direction
Customizable mood icons and labels make it easier to capture emotions in a way that’s intuitive, accessible, and personalized—encouraging expression that truly fits the user
Transparent progress data helps individuals visualize growth, revisit key milestones, and see how each step contributes to their broader goals
Equip isn’t just a record-keeping system—it’s a catalyst for personal agency. And when individuals are empowered to speak up, reflect, and lead, the entire support model becomes stronger.

Support Simplified
Effective tools and insights to simplify your role and maximize impact.
Built by Providers. Strengthened by Community.
Effective support begins with the right tools—and thrives when those tools are refined by the people who use them every day. That’s why Equip now makes it possible for customers to share templates directly with one another.
This month, two exceptional templates have been added to the Equip Template Library:
📋 SAP (Satisfactory Academic Progress) Form – From USF UMatter, used to monitor academic performance and align with federal requirements.
🏠 Residence Check Assessment – From Auburn University EAGLES Program, designed to guide residential staff through consistent, person-centered check-ins.
These templates are available for all users and can be customized to meet the unique needs of your organization.
We’ve also launched the Equip Community Group on Facebook—an exclusive and collaborative space for Equip customers to share ideas, ask questions, and learn from one another. It’s one more way we’re turning best practices into shared progress.

Sharing the Stage at FLPEPPI: Supporting Success Across the Southeast
Earlier this month, Equip was honored to join two of our Florida customers—USF’s Eileen Hoffman Hafer UMatter Program and SEU Link from Southeastern University—at the FLPEPPI conference hosted by FCSUA.
Together, we co-presented on the transformative ways these organizations are leveraging Equip to:
Drive data-informed decisions
Strengthen interdisciplinary communication
And deliver measurable, participant-centered outcomes
The enthusiasm in the room was palpable. From strategy discussions to statewide collaboration, the conference underscored one simple truth: community is the engine of progress.
We’re proud to support the momentum happening across Florida—and beyond.
